Elixir by Royèl Founder Mitchell Royèl Reveals He Was The Victim of Vicious Bullying
Add Mitchell Royèl (born Mitchell Carlisle Abbott) to the growing list of millennials that have survived periods of reckless bullying.
On February 12th, 2019, Royèl posted to social media about a dark period in his life “many moons ago,” where he was deeply involved with a group of people who “degraded, disrespected and humiliated” him on a regular basis.
He claims the bullying was so intense and the impact on his self – esteem was so severe, he vowed to never publish another issue of Elixir by Royèl again.
After going through a period of introspection, the social media influencer realized he could potentially reach millions through his digital magazine, Elixir by Royèl, (which is a self – help magazine for millennials) and that inspired him to relaunch the magazine and begin publishing again.
See Royèl’s official statement below:
“Many moons ago, I was immersed in a community of individuals that took great pleasure in bullying me for no good reason. It’s okay to dislike someone, or even dislike someone for no reason; but it’s never okay, to disrespect, degrade, and humiliate that person. Meanness is a sign of weakness. Courage is fire, and bullying is smoke. Through it all, I learned that strong people stand up for themselves, but the strongest stand up for others.
Truth is, until I considered how many millennials I could help through #elixirbyroyel, I had given up on publishing it. There’s so much I could say, but nah, sometimes the bravest thing we can do is never look back. I’m proud to announce that on Valentine’s Day, I will be revealing the theme of the next issue of my digital magazine. Be careful who you bully, they may be the ones saving you tomorrow. Namaste. #MAKEBULLYINGEXTINCT.”
Safe to say the Revenge Issue of Elixir by Royèl, which will be released in March at elixirbyroyel.com, is going to be a bully-free zone.
