KINGS & QUEENS is the latest collection of Gilda Garza’s, which has already sold out exhibits in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami and Spain, and is now set to appear in the Michael Costello fashion show at Scottsdale Fashion Week.
The fine art collection “King’s & Queens”, was motivated by Gilda’s personal understanding of the true love partners have for each other, making this a beautiful and emotionally connected body of art.
“My inspiration for this new collection is True Love, how you and your partner can make each other feel like a real King or Queen. That is when you know you have found true love. Now is the time to celebrate this.”
Art and fashion go hand in hand, and as such Gilda’s work has become highly sought after by the Fashion elite. Gilda was honored to have her art recently fabricated on to a one-of-a-kind Roberto Cavalli piece and Gilda has also previously collaborated with Nicole Miller.
Therefore her involvement with Scottsdale Fashion Week in this way, is an exciting next step in integrating her art further with the world of fashion. This will be the first time SFW had brought art into their fashion shows, making it a historic event for the annual show.
The two artists, Michael an artist in his designing and Gilda with her paintbrush, both adore each other and see their work as symbiotic and intertwined, so a joint collection was exciting and fun to put together. Both the designer and artist are delighted to showcase it to the world.
This year’s Scottsdale Fashion Week is going to unveil Gilda’s highly anticipated collaboration with the renowned high fashion designer Michael Costello. The fashion and art worlds are both clamoring to see the results of this exciting and sure to be breathtaking collaborative collection.
