Brad Pitt Took Hair Cues from Girlfriends

He’s in the news again, and it’s not for one of his many movies. Brad Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, just got engaged and everyone is wondering what he thinks of this. Some of us are not wondering that, at all. In fact, many of us are quite taken with Jennifer and Justin, and their synchronised style. Naturally, looking for the ex-Mrs. Pitt’s style guide we came across Brad Pitt and Jennifer in their heyday, and it hit home. Brad Pitt, with 90% of his relationships, has tended to imitate the hairstyles of his female partners. Sometimes it has worked. Other times it’s been a bit disconcerting, but overall it’s been a most interesting journey.

After meeting and starring together in ‘Seven,’ the hotties hooked up and he went from hunk, to the more testosterone-fuelled version of stunning Gwyneth. Famously, Brad decided to copy Paltrow’s popular short hairstyle which was swept to one side and bleached white. His sculpted looks were certainly not eclipsed, but the pair did look a bit too much alike to be dating.

Okay so he didn’t poof his hair, but since Brad Pitt had married the woman who introduced the “Rachel” style to the world, he needed to get his hair act together. Pitt’s shaggy do on his wedding day to Aniston was extremely attractive on him, and one has to admit that the ‘his and hers’ highlights actually worked for the couple. For many years he kept his hair colour very similar to Aniston’s. It was cute.

She is a rocker and he’s…not. Juliette Lewis gave Brad Pitt a bit of an identity when they started dating back in the nineties. After starring together in ‘Too Young to Die,’ Pitt and Lewis were spotted in pictures and not only were they growing closer, but their hairstyles were growing one identity. Her blonde shaggy style was taken on by Pitt and his long locks and slightly blonde streaks were as far back as his complimentary style went, back then. As time moved on, Brad Pitt’s style evolved and he became more of a clothes horse for men’s designer clothing, which was perfect considering the popular Pitt physique. His style started complimenting his hairstyles, and Pitt quickly became a coveted clothing model for brand houses. Who could blame them, the man makes some female hairstyles look utterly brilliant.

Now, engaged to Angelina Jolie, father to six and one of the most highly-respected philanthropists in the world, Brad Pitt has put his ‘girlfriend’ styles behind him. However, he seems to be passing his cool fashion sense on to his kids. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt walks her own style road, just like her dad.
