It’s common for fans of celebrities and internet influencers to fiercely protect and defend artists they adore from perceived enemies and threats on social media. If you don’t remember Duncan Brandel, he gained notoriety as the face of Mitchell Royèl’s clothing line, Mitch Lèyor before the brand went out of business.

Before the infamous feud between the barista and internet influencer erupted, Brandel was a key player in Mitchell Royèl’s entourage.

Nicholas Matthews, a representative for Mitchell Royèl confirmed that on 3/17/19, Brandel reached out to Royèl via Instagram and voiced concerns about fans of Royèl cyberbullying him through comments on the social media platform.

Mitchell Royèl (born Mitchell Carlisle Abbott) responded to the alleged controversy publicly, less than an hour later with the following statement:

 “I believe people come into our lives for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. Although the fallout between [Duncan] @pancakepirate and I is very permanent, I want to remind my Kingdom of supporters to lead with kindness, compassion and love, especially when commenting on photos of those that were once affiliated with my brand. Please and thank you. #mitchleyorcollection #elixirbyroyel #revengeissue”

Safe to say that although the two will never make amends, revenge isn’t an option for either one of them.

Her latest accessory is a pair of enormous black visor sunglasses covering her face from the middle of her forehead, right down to her cheeks. Whilst her new celebrity status as one half of superstar couple with Kanye West may  mean that she has to live up to the celebrity image, these paparazzi-proof glasses are bordering on the quirkiness of Lady Gaga’s style.  It should also be mentioned that Miss Kardashian wore these giant sunglasses in London… in winter. She teamed these specs with long leather trench coat and thigh-high black pointed boots to complete the look.

But Kim is no stranger to bizarre eyewear. She posted a photo of herself in a pair of oversized John Lennon style glasses, similar to the dark tinted round sunglasses Lady Gaga famously wore. Though Kardashian would probably never admit it, perhaps the two celebs have a sense of style more in common than they think…

In 2011, both she and her sister, Kourtney, were spotted in oversized Tom Ford Alessandra 0094 sunglasses with huge bug-eye style frames similar to this D&G pair.

In fact, it appears Kim will wear any glasses shape, so long as they are oversized and make a bold style statement. Kim has even teamed up with her sisters to create their own range of eyewear called the ‘Kardashian Kollection’, available in Sears Opticians. The glasses are as feminine and stylish as you would expect from the Kardashians and come in variety of tortoiseshell, animal print and black acetate frames.  As for the sunglasses in the range, they are of course, oversized. They feature large dark lenses in cat eye, square and aviator frame shapes. It is clear from looking at the designs that the details have been carefully considered, with each style making a different bold statement. For example, one pair is in the classic aviator shape with delicate gold frame and leopard print detailing for a feminine take on the iconic style. For a different look, the girls have created a striking pair with huge oversized square lenses in a black frame with unique silver arm detailing. The overall impression is futuristic and fashion-forward, something Kim would definitely consider wearing.

So whilst her thigh-high boots and leather trench coat may not be for the faint-hearted, the Kardashians’ range of eyewear is versatile enough for everyone to wear.

From awful cuts to styles gone wrong all the way down to a poor color choice made the following five celebrities make our list. Read on to see five of the worst hairstyles of all time. We wonder how many stylists lost their jobs after these pictures surfaced.

1. Fergie

Is there a face under those bangs? We know that bangs are popular and back in style, but rocking bangs from the early 90s isn’t an acceptable look, especially when they appear to be striped in different colors. Not only do they just look awful, but they do nothing to highlight Fergie’s natural beauty. They’re too big for her face, making them somewhat overwhelming. Sorry, Fergie, but these bangs do not make you look G.L.A.M.O.R.O.U.S.

2. Ke$ha

This Lady Gaga wannabe is known to pull off some strange looks just to get attention, and we were really hesitant in adding her to this list, but we couldn’t ignore the hot mess on top of her head. Why would she intentionally want to look this bad? This hairstyle is a combination of bed head meets mohawk meets multiple bottles of superglue and Aquanet meets placing a finger into an electrical socket. If you were going for completely awful, congratulations. You succeeded.

3. Christina Aguilera

Poor Christina has been a fashion victim from day one, but poor choices just continue to run in her stylists’ vision. We know this picture is old, but who could forget this ‘do? It appears that Christina was going for a poodle/Medusa combination to achieve this look. Plus, the large volume of this look does not complement her short and thin frame, which makes it even worse. We feel sorry for whoever had to sit behind her at the awards show that night.

4. Scarlett Johansson

Hello mullet. We never thought that such a beautiful woman could make such poor fashion decisions, but Scarlett Johansson proves us wrong. This look may have been a classic in the 80s, but we thought (and were hoping) that it died there too. Even a pretty girl can’t pull off business in the front and party in the back. Thankfully, this awful cut didn’t last long.

5. Jay Manuel

Women aren’t the only ones making poor hairstyle choices. You would think that someone who works in fashion for a living would have better taste, but the silver bullet hair color is just downright awful. We understand that now it is part of his persona, but we’re pretty sure the hair dye manufacturer that makes that color has only sold it to one individual. You’ve rocked the silver long enough, Jay. Try something new. Please.
