Stephenie Meyer and Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon were faced with the difficult decision of selecting just one sketch out of the ten submitted by Carolina Herrera for Bella Swan. Upon selection, the wedding dress was custom-made to fit actress Kristen Stewart, complimenting her curves.

The white wedding dress was made by combining crepe satin and French Chantilly lace to create a look of elegance and determination. The back of the dress sported a sheer panel with scrolled embroidery and a grand total of 152 white buttons from the neckline right down to the hem.

The gorgeous $35,000 gown of Bella Swan took a total of six months for Carolina Herrera and four other seamstresses to complete.
